1844, DEC. 64 THE BENNERS I. DARIUS SILVEY, was a merchant in Parkville, and a man of integrity. He 1nd Lucy Boone, a niece of Dan'l Boone, the great pioneer. He (1. Dec. 1, 1852, and T. H. Starnes administered, giving bond for $2,400. His ch. Were: 1. Ann Eliza Silvey, married Alfred Winter 2. Malinda Silvey, married May 28, 1872, D. D. Buie 3. William B. Silvey 4. Jane Silvey 5. Lucy B. Silvey, married Jan. 6, 1857, Alf. Owens 6. Thos. Silvey 7. Martha C. Silvey, married January 5, 1857, John M. Martin. These seven children all died childless and Darius Silvey's family is extinct. II. ELIJAH SILVEY, married Susa S. Brown and went to California. III. CASSANDRA SILVEY, married Mont. Trimble, of Denver. IV. PHOEBE E. SILVEY, married Mounce Byrd, Jr. 1 child: Alfred V. JOHN SILVEY, married Mel. Stewart, of St. Charles. VI. MALINDA SILVEY, married Boone Calloway. of St. Charles. VII. MARTHA A. SILVEY, married John McFall and moved to Arizona. VIII. JAMES MADISON SILVEY. b. April 10. 1828; md May 10, 1860. Harriet Warfield. She d. Nov. 28. 1891. Mr. Silvey is one of the solid men of the county. He is an intelligent and prosperous farmer. He lives seven miles east of Platte City. Children: 1. Jeff J. Silvey, married December 18, 1884, Nancy K. Waller, dr. of Abs. Waller. Children: [a] Solon Silvey [b] Jas. M. Silvey (ii) [c] a babe 2.
