eral years in Platte. Mr. .,-hilles Perrin returned to 1ioyleCo., Ky.
He was a, son of Josephus 1erri11, and was born in North Carolina
in 1778; came to Kentucky; md Jane Smith. Children:

continued the mercantile business. which he had pursued
in Kentucl). There, in 1838, he md Julia Morton. b. in
1822. 3, dr. of Samuel Morton. She d. in 1849, after coining;
with her husband, in 1842. to Platte, and settling near Cam-

Shanks. Here he turned his attention to farming, but in
1867-8 he was casliier of the Platte Savinrvs Institution at
\eston. He served a. term as coroner, and has been a
leader in the Clnistian. the benevolent. and the educational
enterprises of his localitjv. For years past he has been
lame from a fall from a horse. and has to use eriitelies.
