Mrs. Morin was a mild and complacent Woman, the very op- posite of her husband in disposition. Children: 1. Jlartlza Sum: .]I07"l1lv, b. July 2, 1839; md Nov. 11, 1865, Thomas Moran, b. Aug. 30, 1868, in Madison County, Ky, son of James B. Moran and Matilda Moore. He graduated at Center College,Kentucky, in 1859, came to Missouri in 1863, settled in 1867 near Ridgley, sold out and came to Platte City, and thence Went to southern Blissouri, where he died Jan. 16. 1896. Children: [(1] William Lee Moran. b. Aug. 25, 1866; [5] Jesse Moran, b. Oct. 2, 1868; [0] Matilda. b. Feb. 12. 1872. 2. Matilda JIor111, b. Jan. 11, 1844; d. May 22, 1877; md May 30, 1853, Nic. R. Green. (See) 3. John, Jlorin. b. March 16, 1843; md Oct. 15, 1878, Maud Bayne. b. Oct. 25, 1857. John is genial, generous, and gallant. He held several minor ofces in Platte City. Anna Duncan. b. Oct. 26. 1856, dr. of Col. John S. Duncan. late of Camden Point. Willia1n is a farmer. and lives at the Duncan mansion, near Camden Point.
