V. T. Woods, ousted. I11 1866 he was elected to the
same oflice. over L. Shepard, by a Vote of 808 to 632.
In May, 1880. he removed to St. Joseph, and has
since been successfully engaged in banking a.nd
other n-a11eial enterprises. He is now regarded as
one of the solid men of that city. She 11as no cl1i1-
dren by either husband.
