Shrock and Long. She. died .la1-ch 30. 1884. aged (36. Mr. De Bard was -.1. Mason. and acted as tvler of the lodge. chapter. and comn1anderv at Platte Citv. Kv.. August 13. 1813. came to Platte in 1810. and settled near Farley. He possessed good judgment and education. and held the oice of justice of the peace for several terms. He married April 15. 1850. Susan Moore. nee Porter. Children: 1. Lester Powell; 2. Sterling P. Powell; 3. Laura. Judge A. Gilbert removes to Atchison. Kansas. Elder Y. H.
