Cook his property on Lots 7 and 8, Block 23, in Platte City, and buys of Sanders McComas part of his property in Block 42. Cook builds a new an fine house on Lot 7, Block 23. Jan. 13 - A house in Tracy belonging to Mrs. Annie Cockrill burned. All the actual sales of land in Platte for 1889 show an average of $35.50 per acre, while the assessments show an average of $11.30.
