Marie Hufford 7. Barnie Hufford 8. Alfred Hufford May 22 - ABSALOM WEBBER died at Edgerton. He was born in Clark County, Ky., in 1836. He was a merchant at Union Mills and subsequently at Edgerton. He married a daughter of J. H. Doke (i). Children: 1. Lillian Webber, married Sept. 12, 1879, John H. Doke (ii) 2. James Webber 3. Ollie Webber 4. Lizzie Webber, married March 7, 1892, Richard W. Yates 5. Lena Webber Weston does some prospecting for coal, but without results. May 27 - Peter Hornback having died, his son Jesse administered. Bond, $2,000. THE HORNBACK FAMILY. I. PETER HORNBACK. d. in May, 1891. His widow was Charity. Children: 1. Mary Hornback, married an Irwin. 2. Solomon Hornback 3. John Hornback 4. Jesse B. Hornback, b. Nov. 20, 1846; d. Feb. 3, 1894; married in 1867, Eliza Conway. Children: [a] Emma Hornback, married Jan. 2, 1889, John F. Logan [b] Lucy Hornback, married Jan. 2, 1889, Paul B. Gabbert [c] Charles Hornback [d] Thomas Hornback 5. John W. Hornbnack, dead. 6. Rhoda Hornback, married a Watson 7. Sarah J. Hornback, married a McClung 8. Bettie Hornback, married a Hewitt 9. Peter Hornback (ii) II. ADAM HORNBACK, was a cousin of Peter, and was b. in 1800. He was a son of Samuel Hornback and Cynthia Hammond, of Bourbon County, Ky. He came at an early day to Platte, and settled near Smithville. Children: 1. Mary Jane Hornback, b. in Bourbon County, Ky., May 28, 1828; married Aug. 20, 1848, Jerry Beery. 2. Kesiah Hornback, married William Johnston. She is now a widow in Bates County. 3. Lucinda Hornback, married George Blake, of Clay. 4. Eliza Hornback, married William Reevis 5. William Hornback, married Susan Doyle, dr. of Aller Doyle. 6. Dan Hornback, married Amanda Hornback 7. John Hornback, lives in Clay 8. Samuel Hornback 9.
