1892, SEPT. 974 L WOODWARD. LANCE WOODWARD, \ho was born in Bedford C~ounty, V.a., September 3, 1797. His parents removed to Lllontgoillery County, K52, in 1800. There he married, September 20, 1823, Fanny Shearer. They came to Platte. and August 15. 1810, settled 11ear Edgerton. His Wife was born in Madison County, KY, April 22, 1802; died August :26. 1878. He celebrated his 92d birt-hd.ayv, and his daughter, Mrs. P. .ewn1an, celebrated her golden wedding Se-ptemiber 2, 1892. He died September 9. 189-1. Their children: p I.
