He was a surgeon of eminence; born in Scott County. Kv.. August 27. 1828. graduated at the Louisville Medical School in 1852; came to Far- ley in 1855: was surgeon -of Yinstons regiment; returned in 1864. and settled at Platte City; went to Kansas City in 1878. and be- caine a leading physician of the place.
