General Assembly in 1853-4. of the Constitutional Convention in 1855; member of Congress in 1856-60; judge of the Kansas City circuit, and held court to the hour of his death. Children: [1] Judge William H. Woodson, md Cora Winston (see); [2] Margaret Woodson, b. in 1847; [3] Ellen, b. in 1850; [4] Sallie K; [5] Samuel H. Woodson (iii). [1] Rob-t. E. V-oodson, graduated at Center Col- lege in 1837; practiced law in Kansas City; died in 1872. He md 1st, Miss Barnett, and 2d, Miss Carter. Two of his children by his last marriage are inu- ential citizens of Kansas City. [0] Kidder Woodson, lives on a farm near Frank- fort. Ky. [f] Sallie Woodson, md Alex. Waddle. She died in 1838, leaving a son. [0] Betsy, md Cary Lee, of Ohio. who died. leaving a daughter, Cara. She married second, John C. ;IcCoy,one of the founders of Kansas City. Tucker Woo~d-son (i) married second, Mary Netherland. Children: [ll] V/Vade N. Woodson, oaf Goochland Co., Va., md 1st.Mary Harris, dr. of John Harris, of Powhatan Co., Va., whose wife, Obedience, was daughter of Thomas and Mary Jefferson Turpin, a. sister of President Thomas Jefferson. Wood.son (ii), md Emma Mitchell; [4] Martha Woodson, md Samuel Hayes; [5] Ade- line, md in 1852 Andrew Dysart; [6] Ellen. md Geo. Fra.me.
